About the ICGZ
The Institute of Corporate Governance Zimbabwe is a registered not-for-profit organization committed to the development of corporate governance and best practices in Zimbabwe. We are the foremost institution committed to the development and promotion of corporate governance best practices and aim to be the recognized reference point both nationally and internationally in matters relating to Corporate Governance. Also, we provide a template for formulation and enforcement of corporate governance standards for Zimbabwe and other emerging economies, using the tools of seminars, trainings, research and advocacy. Established in 2015 as, the Institute of Corporate Governance Zimbabwe mission is to promote effective standards of corporate governance and investor stewardship to advance efficient markets and sustainable economies in Zimbabwe.
Our policy positions are guided by the ICGZ
Governance Principles and Stewardship Principles, which are implemented by:
- Influencing policy by providing a reliable source of investor opinion on governance and
stewardship; - Connecting peers at global events to enhance dialogue between companies and investors
